Missouri is the 21st most extensive and the 18thmost populous of the 50 United States. It is located in the Midwestern United States bordered by Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska. Missouri has both mid-western and southern cultural characteristics. This State is not like the others because it is split in the middle by the state line dividing Missouri and Kansas.
