Groom is a town in Carson County, Texas. There is a 19-story cross located at groom. This cross is 190-foot tall. This tall free-standing cross can be seen from 20 miles away. Also there is a leaning water tower in Groom which currently serves as a decorative item.

Port Aransas is a city in Nueces, Texas. Port Aransas was a location of pirates in the early 19th century. Port Aransas has now become fishing, beach, and resort village as well as a college spring break destination.
