The Disney World is the world’s most visited entertainment resort. It is located in Buena Vista, Florida. The resort was developed by Walt Disney in the 1960s. Disney World opened on October 1, 1971. When it opened there was only Magic Kingdom theme park and then Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal kingdom were added.

Kennedy Space Center is located on Merritt Island, Florida. Kennedy Space Center is a major Central Florida tourist destination. The visitor complex offers public tours of the center and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Kennedy Space Center is the NASA installation that has been the launch site for every United States human space flights since 1968. If you are in Florida then don’t miss it. It is a man made wonder.

Miami is a city and it is located on the Atlantic Coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. Miami’s metro area is the 7th most populous and 5th largest urban area in the United States. In 2010, Miami ranked 7th in the United States in terms of finance, commerce, culture, fashion, entertainment, education and other sectors.

Sarasota is a city and it is located in Sarasota County on the southwestern coast of the United States of Florida. If you ever wanted to join the circus, Sarasota is the place to go. John Ringling made Sarasota the winter home for his circus. Sarasota is a principal city of the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area, and is the seat of Sarasota County. John Ringling’s legacy lives on here in the Ringling Museum Complex, which includes his former home, a fine art Museum, and of course, a circus museum.



5. Apalachicola National Forest:




The Apalachicola National Forest is the largest U.S national forest in the state of Florida. It contains two wilderness areas: Brad well Bay Wildness Area and Mud swamp Area. It is the only national forest located in the Florida Panhandle. The national forest provides water and land-based outdoors activities such as swimming, boating, hiking, hunting, fishing, horse-back riding and off-road ATV usage.
